Over-deliver.
It isn’t a word you hear very much in restaurant circles these days, especially not when it comes to pre-scripted wine dinners.
But honestly, if someone’s asking you to drop ninety bucks for a two- or three-hour affair, over-delivering had better be on their mind.
If you’ve ever been to BOKX 109, you can be sure that it is.
If you haven’t been there yet, let this be your introduction.
Next Friday evening, BOKX 109 in Newton is hosting a dinner with pairings from Beringer Vineyards.
Yes, it’s pre-scripted. Five courses, including reception and dessert.
Yes, it’s ninety bucks. $89, to be exact.
Here’s what you get in addition to the five courses: generous pours of each of the five wines, including the ‘08 Private Reserve Chard, the ‘08 Knights Valley Cab, and the renown Nightingale at dessert.
