So, yes, the app WAS only available for the last quarter of 2010. But we've got plenty of data from those three months and we wanted to share one bit in particular with you.

The most viewed wine of all.

We'd like you to know what it is because it hits the hot buttons of what you, our users and readers and followers, are looking for in your wine purchasing experience.

  1. Convenience. Bauer Wine & Spirits listed it as one of their featured wines. Well-situated on a high-traffic stretch of Newbury Street, Bauer welcomes passers-by who are new to the store as well as a very loyal following of return customers.
  2. Visual aids. Bauer was one of the first partner stores to utilize the RWB shelf talkers. They are meant to draw shoppers' eyes to the featured wines and, apparently, they work! The front label of this particular wine is also visually appealing which certainly helps as well.
  3. Price. $17.99. Not cheap. Not expensive. Nicely in between. And definitely worth it.
  4. Quality. Respected producer. Well-tended soil. Very food friendly.

So what was our most clicked-on wine from 2010?

next Pinot Noir from King Estate Winery in Oregon

Congratulations!
